Refund Policy

1. Overview

AppForgeNow uses Paddle as our payment processor (Merchant of Record). This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on our premium subscription services, in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

In accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms, you have the right to cancel your subscription and receive a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, without giving any reason. This 14-day withdrawal period starts from the date you receive confirmation of your purchase.

To exercise your right of withdrawal within the 14-day period:

Upon approval of your withdrawal request, your refund will be processed within 14 days to your original payment method.

3. General Refund Policy

After the 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be refused. Paddle will refuse a refund request if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.

4. Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. Important terms:

  • If you wish to cancel your subscription, you must do so at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • Your cancellation will take effect at the next payment date
  • There are no refunds on unused subscription periods
  • You will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Unused subscription periods or partial months
  • Orders where payment was made via wire transfer
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations or fraudulent activity
  • Requests that show evidence of abuse or manipulative behavior

6. Sales Tax Refunds

If you have been charged sales tax on your purchase and are registered for sales tax in the country of purchase, you may be entitled to a refund of the sales tax amount if permitted by applicable laws. This includes VAT, GST, Consumption Tax, and other applicable taxes.

To be eligible for a sales tax refund, you must contact Paddle within 60 days after completing your purchase.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or get help with your subscription:

  1. Visit Paddle's Order Support at paddle.net
  2. Provide your order number and the email address used for purchase
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request

8. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing time is typically 5-10 business days
  • Bank processing times may vary
  • You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
  • Premium access will be revoked upon refund approval

9. Cancellation vs. Refund

Please note the difference between cancellation and refund:

  • Cancellation: Stops future billing. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. Must be done at least 48 hours before renewal.
  • Refund: Returns your payment and immediately revokes premium access. Subject to approval on a case-by-case basis.
